Jesse G. Leyva the son of Detention officer Lucina Silva, and retired Detention Officer Gustavo Leyva, will be sworn in on 08-14-2011 as a new Detention Officer with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office. Luci is very proud of her son joining the Sheriff's Office following in both Luci's and his father footsteps. Luci herself has been in the department for over 19 years, and gets emotional when talking about her son and reflecting on the years gone by. Luci is very proud of her son Jesse and welcomes him to the Sheriff's Office family. Congratulations Luci and Gus, and good luck to Jesse G. Leyva in your career.
