The first SOA membership appreciation night at the EL Paso Diablos was enjoyed by more than 150 officers and their families. The officers and their families were provided with free hot dogs, hamburgers and cokes. Some officers even enjoyed a cold drink at a discounted price. This was the first of 3 nights we are going to have at the El Paso Diablos. Dates and times are posted on the “Upcoming Events” tab.
Officers who attended Friday’s event not only enjoyed a great game but had a chance to see some old friends and make some new ones. This was a great opportunity for officers from the Jail-Annex, D.T Jail, Patrol, Academy and Admin to just relax and enjoy each other’s company.
I like to thank board members Rudy Liggins, Brian Houston and Fred Castillo for helping hand out the tickets to the members and their families. A Special thanks to Rudy who made sure we had enough tickets, food and drinks for everyone who attended the game. I hope to see an even bigger crowd of officers and their families on June 27th.
